Join us on a tour in a comfortable bus and visits sights off the beaten track. Soft drinks are included.
With our tour we would like to introduce you to the two districts of Berlin Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain with its history, its development, the life in the “Kietz”, cafes, backyards, market halls and urban cultural projects.
In a small group starts our four-hour tour at ESMT. The ride leads past the former city wall and the remains of an old railway station to our first breakpoint Riehmers Hofgarten. Between 1891 and 1899 master bricklayer Wilhelm Riehmer fulfilled his dream of peaceful, contemplative living in the middle of the big city. We continue from the waterfall in Victoria Park to the Tempelhof airfield.
Afterwards we drive through the chic Bergmannkiez, on to the Prinzessinnengarten - a former fallow area, which became a mobile garden.
Strengthened for the next stops, we stop at the Kunsthaus Bethanien and the Turkish House on the Wall.
Our next stop is the Market Hall Nine with its first international street food market in Germany. The historic market hall from the 19th century reopened in 2011 and since then houses a large number of small dealers who primarily offer fair, ecological and regionally produced products.
Over the Oberbaumbrücke - Berlin's most beautiful bridge - the journey continues towards Oberbaumcity.
Discover with us the new urban development project around the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the East Side Gallery and the creative village Holzmarkt.
The tour ends again at the starting point.
